Developer Only4Gamers has launched their space RTS Space Menace 2 onto Steam early access. This new sci-fi real-time-strategy brings a galaxy full of opportunities, space battles, customisation and dangers.
With Space Menace 2, the galaxy is on the brink of chaos as numerous factions strive for dominance, and whispers of an unknown force getting closer threatens to overthrow everything that humanity has achieved. Players will need to prepare for an adventure that balances strategy, action and storytelling.
Starting out as a space captain, players will begin their story with a small fleet of just two ships but also with the freedom to chart their own course. Players will be able to take on freelancer missions, create trade routes and take part in battles. With every mission accomplished and trade completed, space captains will earn the credits needed to expand and upgrade their fleet.
As players rise through the ranks and gain more ships in their fleet, they will become more powerful and begin to attract the attention of the galaxy’s most formidable factions. Gaining the trust and respect of these factions will bring alliances that will increase the fleet’s power, though making the wrong decision can result in devastating confrontations.
With Space Menace 2, players will have plenty of opportunities for customisation. Ships in the fleet can be given different loadouts and players will be able to select from a wide selection of weapons, utilities and strike craft that will suit their preferred strategies. As the story unfolds, so do the challenges that players will face, and the choices made will have an effect on the galaxy.
