Jimmy and Stiggs trailer teases “a fever dream of alien mayhem”

May 31, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

The Horror Section has shared a poster and trailer for the Eli Roth-produced sci-fi horror Jimmy and Stiggs.

Written and directed by Joe Begos (VFW, Christmas Bloody Christmas) and set for release through Roth’s new label The Horror Section, the film promises to deliver “a fever dream of alien mayhem” as an out of work filmmaker and his friend find themselves battling against extra-terrestrial invaders. Check it out below…

A shitstorm of bad news sends out-of-work filmmaker Jimmy Lang (Joe Begos) spiraling into an out-of-control bender, during which he claims that he’d been abducted by aliens. Fearing they’ll come back, he contacts his old friend Stiggs (Matt Mercer) to help him gear up for war. When the sun sets, the duo are thrown into a hallucinatory explosion of aliens, drugs, booze, and all-out carnage.

Jimmy and Stiggs arrives in cinemas on August 15th.
