Atomfall DLC will take players to the Wicked Isle

May 29, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Rebellion has announced that the Wicked Isle expansion will arrive for Atomfall on 3rd June. This brand-new expansion takes players to the new location of Midsummer Island, here players will encounter more characters, find additional leads, weapons and more.  Watch the new trailer below to see more content from this expansion…

This new expansion will open up the Island of Midsummer but in order for players to get there they will first have to chat to the boat-keeper who can be found on the jetty in Wyndham Village. The boat-keeper will provide more information about the island and also provide your first Lead of the expansion.  From there, it’s time to set out on a new adventure across the strip of sea to experience a wealth of new content.

As the island is closer to the Atom Plant, players will find that both the environment and the people living there have higher levels of infection. Players will meet new enemy factions, including the pirate bandits and infected druids, and discover new locations, such as the Jolly Angler pub (is the picture on the pub’s sign based on Skegness’ Jolly Fisherman?).  There are also new weapons to discover, these include the devastating Blunderbuss shotgun, a new bow, the cutlass, daggers and the Beekeeper’s Staff. Players can also acquire new skills and make use of an upgraded metal detector to help find more loot caches.

The Wicked Isle expansion will also include more Leads for players to uncover, these will open up a number of story treads, some of which will result in potential endings for the main game.
