The Daughter of Drakulon is getting set to celebrate spooky season with the release of the oversized one-shot special Vampirella Halloween Horror from Dynamite Entertainment.
Set for release this September, Vampirella Halloween Horror is written by Liam Johnson (2000 AD) with art from Jordan Michael Johnson, and will see Vampi tracking a serial killer in her adopted home of New York City.
Something sinister is stalking the streets of New York City, and encroaching on the Daughter of Drakulon’s turf. Vampirella learns of a paranormal serial killer targeting the vulnerable young in her adopted city. With a target in sight, she starts her own hunt to determine the killer’s true identity and put an end to their spree. Along the way Vampi will wrestle with a question that has shadowed her entire life: when does a gift become a curse? Does she share more in common with this faceless, violent threat than she thinks, or will her heroic nature prevail?
Vampirella Halloween Horror will be available with covers by Greg Land, Celina, and cosplayer Joanie Brosas, along with the return of fan-favourite 90s Vampirella artist BUZZ, who pays homage to the character’s first ever cover by Frank Frazetta; check them out here…
