Ahead of its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, Focus Features has released the first trailer for Hamnet, director Chloe Zhao’s (Nomadland, Eternals) upcoming adaptation of Maggie O’Farrell’s 2020 novel.
The film reimagines the story of the creation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and features a cast that includes Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, Emily Watson, and Joe Alwyn. Watch the trailer below…
