Sony Pictures Classics has released a poster and trailer for Nuremberg, writer-director James Vanderbilt’s upcoming adaptation of Jack El-Hai’s book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist.

The psychological drama stars Rami Malek as Douglas Kelley, a psychiatrist tasked with evaluating Nazi leaders ahead of the Nuremberg trials, who finds himself locked into a battle of wits with Reichsmarschall Herman Göring (Russell Crowe).

Joining Malek and Crowe in the cast are Michael Shannon, Leo Woodall, Richard E. Grant, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Lydia Peckham, Wrenn Schmidt, Lotte Verbeek, and Andreas Pietschmann. Watch the trailer below…

The Allies, led by the unyielding chief prosecutor, Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), have the task of ensuring the Nazi regime answers for the unveiled horrors of the Holocaust while a US Army psychiatrist (Rami Malek) is locked in a dramatic psychological duel with former Reichsmarschall Herman Göring (Russell Crowe).

Nuremberg arrives in cinemas on November 7th in the US and on November 14th in the UK.
