Enter the Sea of Monsters with Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 trailer

November 6, 2025 by Ricky Church

Prepare to go on a voyage through the deadly Sea of Monsters in the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians as Disney has released the official trailer ahead of next month’s two-episode premiere.

The second season is based on Rick Riordan’s second book of the Percy Jackson series, The Sea of Monsters, where Percy and Annabeth embark on a quest to save Grover and Camp Half-Blood after the magical tree protecting their camp from demons is poisoned, threatening to destroy the barrier around the camp. To save Half-Blood, they have to travel through the mythical and deadly Sea of Monsters to find the one object that can fix their tree.

While we wait for the second season to arrive, Percy Jackson is already in production on the third season in Vancouver. In the meantime, check out the season two trailer and promo images here…

Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, and Toby Stephens as Poseidon. Season two will introduce Daniel Diemer, Timothy Simons, Tamara Smart, Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, Margaret Cho and Andra Day to the cast with Courtney B. Vance taking on the role of Zeus after Lance Reddick’s passing.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 will premiere on December 10th.
