Anya Taylor-Joy crime drama Lucky gets a trailer from Apple TV

June 4, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Apple TV has debuted the first trailer for Lucky, the upcoming crime thriller series from creators Jonathan Tropper (Your Friends & Neighbors).

Based on Marissa Stapley’s bestselling novel of the same name, the series stars Anya Taylor-Joy as a con-artist on the run after a heist goes sideways, desperately searching for a way out as she is pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss.

Joining Anya Taylor-Joy in the cast is Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins, Jr. and William Fichtner.

“Lucky” centers on a young woman (Anya Taylor-Joy) who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.

Lucky premieres on Apple TV on July 15th.
