Star Wars: Droids gets The Black Series treatment with new Hasbro figures

Hasbro has officially revealed a new wave of Star Wars: The Black Series figures inspired by the 1985 animated series Star Wars: Droids, which includes Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2), See-Threepio (C-3PO), Boba Fett, and an Imperial Stormtrooper. The figures are available to pre-order now, priced at $27.99 each; check them out here…

Years before Rebel leader Leia Organa hid her crucial message in R2-D2’s memory banks, the astromech droid embarked on whirlwind adventures with his fussy companion, C-3PO.

  • Inspired by the character’s appearance in the Star Wars: Droids TV series – a great addition to your Star Wars animated universe collection.
  • For the first time in The Black Series, you can collect a version of Artoo inspired by the 1985 spin-off of the original trilogy.
