The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival side-scrolling beat-’em-up coming to PC and consoles

June 15, 2026 by Andrew Newton

TRAILMARK Games and AMC Global Media have unveiled The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival, a new single-player, modern beat-’em-up set in the Walking Dead universe. Fans of the franchise (or the game genre) will be able to purchase the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, and PC via Steam later this year. A new trailer can be seen below showing the Walker-slaying action of some of our favourite TWD characters…

Set during the infamous All-Out War storyline from The Walking Dead television series, players will take the role of fan-favourite characters from the series and use all their skills to fight their way through hordes of walkers and Negan’s ruthless Saviours. Journey through iconic locations from the series, including the Sanctuary, Hilltop, Alexandria and many more, all created in a beautiful retro pixel-art style.

Control legendary characters, such as Rick, Daryl and Michonne and fight powerful Walker bosses like Winslow and the Well Walker, or more deadly opponents like Negan and other members of the Saviors,

Players will be able to unleash devastating combos, epic finishing moves and deadly weapon attacks using iconic weapons, including Rick’s magnum, Michonne’s katana, and Daryl’s trusty crossbow.

Key features of The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival include:

  • Use brutal melee abilities and crowd-clearing ranged attacks to survive the apocalypse.
  • Fight through overwhelming walker hordes and cunning gangs of Saviors.
  • Master each character’s moveset and use these to defeat iconic bosses.
  • Take on multiple difficulty levels with increasingly difficult challenges, or enjoy a casual playthrough in Easy Mode.

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival arrives on PC and consoles later this year, and a playable demo is currently available on Steam.
