Trelane joins EXO-6’s Star Trek sixth scale action figure collection

July 24, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

The Squire of Gothos makes his way into EXO-6’s Star Trek action figure collection with the official unveiling of the Trelane 1:6 scale museum grade action figure; available to pre-order now and expected to ship in Q4 this year, you can check out the official promotional images and details here…

EXO-6 is proud to present one of the most beloved and enigmatic characters from Star Trek: The Original Series — Trelane, the Squire of Gothos — rendered in stunning 1:6 scale detail.

Portrayed with irresistible flair by the late William Campbell, Trelane delights in collecting human artifacts and fashions, fancies himself a gentleman of the Napoleonic era, and views the crew of the Enterprise as little more than fascinating playthings — toys for his amusement. Kirk’s battle of wits against Trelane remains one of the finest cat-and-mouse confrontations of the entire Original Series, and the episode’s shocking final revelation — that Trelane is, in fact, a petulant child being called to account by his parents — recontextualized everything that came before it in a single, breathtaking moment.

Trelane’s legacy looms large over the entire Star Trek franchise. Writers and fans alike have long recognized him as the spiritual — and quite possibly literal — ancestor of Q, the omnipotent trickster of The Next Generation. The parallels are unmistakable: the flamboyance, the fixation on humanity, the vast power unchecked by wisdom. Most recently, Trelane returned to live-action Star Trek in Strange New Worlds, thrilling a new generation of fans and cementing his status as one of the franchise’s most enduring figures.

EXO-6’s figure captures every detail of Campbell’s iconic screen appearance with meticulous authenticity. Trelane’s magnificent 18th-century-style coat features elaborate embroidery along the lapels, cuffs, and hem, while high boots complete the look of the self-styled gentleman warrior. The fully articulated body allows for a wide range of dynamic display poses. The authentic, screen-accurate portrait of William Campbell as Trelane captures his characteristic expression of amused superiority — the slight smirk, the imperious gaze of a being who considers himself the most fascinating creature in any room. The figure also includes Trelane’s ornate dueling sword, recreated in fine detail.
