Hot Toys unveils Avengers: Doomsday Magneto sixth scale figure

Hot Toys continues to roll out its line of Avengers: Doomsday collectibles with the reveal of the sixth scale figure for the Master of Magnetism, Magneto, inspired by the appearance of Ian McKellen in the upcoming Marvel Studios superhero epic. As anticipation builds for Avengers: Doomsday, Magneto — the legendary Master of Magnetism returns. Dedicated to manipulating magnetic fields to protect mutantkind, his arrival signals a multiverse-shattering alliance where his absolute control over metal becomes a crucial weapon against the cosmic threat of Doctor Doom.

Hot Toys is thrilled to introduce the 1/6th scale Magneto Collectible Figure, inspired by his appearance in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Masterfully crafted based on Sir Ian McKellen’s portrayal of the Master of Magnetism, this figure features a newly developed helmeted head sculpt equipped with separate rolling eyeballs. Adding an unparalleled level of realism, the figure boasts meticulously implanted, wavy, light-grey hair made from wool material that extends from beneath his signature helmet.

Standing at approximately 30 cm tall, Magneto’s costume has been perfectly recreated with screen-accurate precision. The tactical ensemble features a tailored long-sleeved tunic, a belt with an X-logo buckle, matching pants, and tall black boots. His commanding silhouette is completed by a dramatic gray cape with a burgundy-colored interior lining. The figure includes six interchangeable hands, allowing for dynamic posing, alongside a specially designed figure stand featuring the Avengers: Doomsday movie logo. A Special Edition available in selected markets will exclusively include a life-sized commemorative metal ring

Known for his power to bend magnetic fields, the Master of Magnetism is plunging straight into a massive, universe-saving team-up. Armed with absolute dominion over metal, Magneto is set to become the crucial weapon in the desperate war against the terrifying Doctor Doom.

Today, Hot Toys is excited to introduce the Deluxe Version of the 1/6th scale Magneto Collectible Figure. Based on the cinematic appearance of Sir Ian McKellen’s portrayal of the Master of Magnetism in Avengers: Doomsday, this figure features a newly developed helmeted head sculpt equipped with separate rolling eyeballs.
