Which Justice League member does Henry Cavill want to see in the DC Cinematic Universe?

December 4, 2013 by admin

Earlier this week we heard from Man of Steel star Henry Cavill as he spoke about the addition of Ben Affleck (Argo) as The Dark Knight in 2015’s hotly-anticipated sequel Batman vs. Superman, while today has brought us the news that Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6) has been cast in the role of Wonder Woman. However, speaking about the various DC references in this year’s Superman reboot, Cavill has revealed that there’s another member of the Justice League who he’s keen to see lining up alongside the Man of Steel as part of the DC Cinematic Universe at some stage.

“There’s one obvious one which is now particularly obvious because of our next instalment, involving Batman. We see Wayne Enterprises on the satellite in space. We also see some references to LexCop – I actually have no further knowledge of this next story [for Batman vs. Superman], but there’s a good chance that Lex is going to be introduced soon, or at some stage. But what really intrigued me was Dr. Hamilton’s [Richard Schiff] connection to S.T.A.R. Labs. Cyborg I think would make a wonderful character and an incredible bridge between superhumans and humanity in a different way than Batman. So, I don’t know where he’s going to come in, or if he’s going to come in, but that’s one I’m particularly excited about.”

Would you like to see Cyborg on the big screen, and if so, who would you like to see cast in the role? Let us know in the comments below….
