Following this week’s title and logo reveal, Sony and Marvel have added two new names to the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, with Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel) and Laura Harrier (One Life to Live) signing on to the reboot in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
Deadline reports that Harrier’s part is “significant”, while Revolori is expected to play a fellow student at Peter Parker’s high school, but is unlikely to be a villain.
The duo will join leading man Tom Holland, who will make his debut as Spidey in Captain America: Civil War, along with Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler) as Aunt May and Zendaya (K.C. Undercover) as Michelle. Reports this week suggested that former Batman star Michael Keaton is in talks to play a villain.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is being directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car) and is set for release on July 7th, 2017.
