The Inbetweeners Movie 2 to start shooting this weekend

December 2, 2013 by admin

Following on from the record-breaking box office run of The Inbetweeners Movie, Bwark Productions has announced that filming on the sequel is set to get underway in Australia this weekend, before shifting to the UK in early 2014. The Inbetweeners Movie 2 will reunite Jay (James Buckley), Neil (Blake Harrison), Simon (Joe Thomas) and Will (Simon Bird), with creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley writing and directing, and Spencer Millman (The Mighty Boosh) producing.

Iain & Damon commented: “We can’t say too much as we don’t want to spoil the jokes for you, but what we can exclusively reveal is there will be kangaroos. And Australians. And possibly koalas. Oh and obviously Jay, Will, Neil and Simon providing they’re let into the country. Thanks so much for all your support, we’re hoping to deliver a film that you’ll enjoy even more than the last one.”

The Inbetweeners Movie 2 is set for release in the UK in August 2014.
