SDCC: Katie Cassidy set for series regular role across all of The CW’s Arrowverse shows

July 24, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Following on from John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn) and Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold), it has now been announced that Katie Cassidy (Laurel Lance) has signed a deal to appear as a series regular across all of The CW’s Arrowverse shows.

“With Laurel being gone, it’s incredibly important for the team to move forward, remembering that legacy and honoring it,” said executive producer Wendy Mericle during the San Diego Comic-Con panel for Arrow, before going on to reveal that Cassidy will then appearance in future episodes of The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
