Dwayne Johnson tops Forbes’ list of highest-paid actors

A couple of days ago Forbes announced that for the second year in a row, Jennifer Lawrence is the highest paid actress in Hollywood, and now its the turn of the men, with Dwayne Johnson dethroning mega-earner Robert Downey Jr. to claim top spot in the actors’ list.

Between June 2015 and June 2016, The Rock banked $64.5 million, more than double the previous year, thanks to his roles in Central Intelligence, San Andreas, and advance earnings from Fast 8. Johnson was previously announced as the highest-grossing international box office star for 2015.
