Avengers: Infinity War will visit “many, many, many new worlds”

January 20, 2017 by Gary Collinson

We know by the sheer number of characters set to be involved that Avengers: Infinity War is going to be pretty epic in scope, but it seems that isn’t confined to just the cast, as production designer Charles Wood has revealed that we’ll be delving deep into the Marvel universe – literally – as we explore “many, many, many new worlds.”

“Any time you turn that page on this script, you’re kind of staggered, blown away, terrified by what’s in front of you,” Wood tells Comic Book. “I think rather like Doctor Strange, you’ll find this film, it’s not regurgatative. What I’m trying to say, is, there are many, many, many new worlds to see in this film. Any time you turn that page on this script, you’re kind of staggered, blown away, terrified by what’s in front of you.”

Production on Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel is set to get underway in Atlanta next week, so we should expect to hear some official casting news very soon, and of course the compulsory flood of spy photos…

What new worlds would you like to pay a visit to in Avengers: Infinity War? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
