Joel Kinnaman, Rosamund Pike, Clive Owen and Common set to star in thriller Three Seconds

May 18, 2017 by Ricky Church

Quite a cast has assembled for Andrea Di Stefano’s upcoming film. Joel Kinnaman, Rosamund Pike, Clive Owen and Common have been cast in Three Seconds, an action thriller based on the novel of the same name by Anders Roslund and Börge Hellström. The screenplay is from Matt Cook, Rowan Joffé and Alex Garland, with Di Stefano doing a pass on the script as well.

Three Seconds follows Pete Hoffman, a reformed-criminal and former special ops soldier who has been working undercover for crooked FBI handlers to infiltrate the Polish mob’s drug trade in New York. To gain his freedom and reunite with his wife and daughter, Hoffman must return to Bale Hill Prison, the place he’s spent years trying to leave. When a drug deal goes wrong, through, it threatens his cover and puts his family at risk.

The film has begun pre-production, but as yet there is no word on a potential release date.
