Elizabeth Debicki joins Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

June 2, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets may less than two months away from release, but director Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, Lucy) has added another cast member in Elizabeth Debicki, most recently seen as the villain Ayesha in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

The news comes from Variety, who also reports that the role is a voice over for an unspecified character, which makes sense considering that the film is currently in post-production and almost finished. It is also possible that she is replacing the voice work already done for a major character, but the most likely scenario is that she is coming on board for a small part.
