Cycle of Warfare DLC coming to Starpoint Gemini Warlords this October

September 30, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Iceberg Interactive and LGM Games have announced that a huge new expansion will be coming to their highly acclaimed space sim, Starpoint Gemini Warlords on the 5th October.  Titled Cycle of Warfare, this DLC will introduce brand new features that will extend the game with over 100 additional hours of gameplay.  To celebrate the upcoming release Iceberg Interactive have released a teaser trailer which can be seen below…

The Cycle of Warfare expansion will allow players to attempt to conquer the Gemini system as one of three factions; the Iolian Pact, Korkyra and the Outerlands.  Each of these three factions have their own advantages but also have their own rivals trying to prevent their power from growing.

As well as this new conquest there will be two new challenge scenarios that will provide the ultimate tests of skill and strategy and modify the game’s rules slightly away from empire management.  The first will allow players to take control of the A’shriari, an unforgiving alien race determined to destroying all humans in the Gemini system.  Secondly, players can choose the life of an ambitious privateer with the mission to make as much money as possible.
