Solo: A Star Wars Story official synopsis released

January 16, 2018 by Ricky Church

Even though we are just months away from its release, we still know hardly anything about the next Star Wars anthology film, Solo: A Star Wars Story. However, Disney and Lucasfilm have now released the first synopsis for the film focusing on everyone’s favourite smuggler from the franchise, teasing a ‘dark and dangerous criminal underworld’ Han Solo enters into. Check out the synopsis below…

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Director Ron Howard took control of the film after Chris Miller and Phil Lord were fired last year, doing some extensive reshoots of the film. A recent report suggested that Solo would be undergoing even more reshoots this month as the film approaches its May release date.
