New Call of Duty: WWII – The Resistance DLC trailer released, watch it here

January 26, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Listen very carefully I shall say this only once… With the obvious ‘Allo ‘Allo reference out of the way; Activision have released a brand new trailer for the The Resistance DLC pack for Call of Duty: WWII which is set to release on PS4 on the 30th January.  This latest trailer showcases the brand new multiplayer maps and the next terrifying chapter of Nazi Zombies.  Watch this trailer below…

In this first DLC pack for Call of Duty: WWII players will be taken to three new locations to battle their way through plus a brand new war mode that will really test your team working skills.  There will also be the next chapter in the Nazi Zombies series to be enjoyed.

The new multiplayer maps will see players battle it out through three iconic WWII locations:

  • Anthropoid – Set in Prague and inspired by a famous assassination attempt on a high-ranking German officer known as Operation Anthropoid.  This map features a center lane divided by a river, with plenty of opportunities for snipers and ranged attacks.
  • Valkyrie – Takes players to the Masurian Woods in East Prussia to fight on a map inspired by The Wolf’s Lair which was the headquarters for Hitler’s Operation Barbarossa.  Valkyrie is a medium sized map with a risky center lane (for those who like to live dangerously) covered by multiple overwatch positions and mounted machine guns.
  • Occupation – Players will battle through the streets of German occupied Paris. It’s a very picturesque map with long side streets that encourage mid-range combat and plenty of defensive positions for ambush and recovery.

In the new Operation Intercept war mode players will embark on an urban rescue mission to save Resistance fighters being transported by train.  Players on the Allied side will need to free the fighters and stop the train to succeed.

Finally, The Darkest Shore is the next chapter of the Nazi Zombies story.  Set days after the disaster of Mittelburg, our heroes receive intel of Doktor Straub’s island location.  With the island blanketed in fog, surrounded by Nazi air and sea power and crawling with zombies our heroes will need to fight their way to uncover the mysteries hidden within the Darkest Shore.

The Resistance DLC pack will be available on the 30th January for PS4 players and a later date for Xbox One and PC gamers.
