Ron Howard reassures fans that Solo: A Star Wars Story is “right on schedule”

March 31, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Given that original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired with just a couple of weeks of principal photography remaining, with Ron Howard subsequently coming on board to reshoot up to 80% of the movie, it’s a little surprising that Disney and Lucasfilm decided to hold firm with its May 2018 release date for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

However, the troubled production seemingly settled into a groove once Howard was on board, and the filmmaker has now taken to Twitter to reassure fans that the project is “right on schedule”, with the edit locked and score completed.
