Jennifer Aniston talks about the possibility of a Friends reunion

November 13, 2014 by admin

Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Friends came to an end? Well, ever since then there has been talk of either a reunion of some kind or even a movie. Much talk, no announcements. The closet we’ve come was the female characters on a reconstructed set on Jimmy Fallon.

At a press conference held today for Horrible Bosses 2, Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green in the series, was asked about the possibility of a Friends reunion and if there was any movement on it. But sadly for fans, the answer was less than positive.

“I don’t know. I don’t think so. I think we should wait until we’re really old – and then maybe do a reunion.”

When suggested that the show could be called, “Golden Friends”, Aniston laughed and agreed. Until co-star Charlie Day clarified it would just be the characters urinating on each other.

She also joked that the cast of Horrible Bosses could be the “new” Friends cast, with Jason Bateman as Chandler, Jason Sudeikis as Joey, leaving Charlie Day the role of Ross.

The final episode of Friends, titled “The Last One”, was watched by 22.8 million people in America and the show ranked 24th in the Writer’s Guild of America’s Best Written Series of All-Time.

The Horrible Bosses 2 press conference will be loaded to the Flickering Myth Podcast on Monday.
