Universal options Mark Millar and Sean Gordon Murphy’s Chrononauts

Universal Pictures has snapped up the rights to Chrononauts, the new comic book series from Mark Millar (Kick-Ass) and Sean Gordon Murphy (Punk Rock Jesus), which launched this past week courtesy of Image Comics.

The studio has tapped Chris Morgan (Furious 7) to produce the adaptation of the time-travelling adventure tale, which revolves around two scientists whose research leads them to a time-travelling adventure, where they have to decide whether to use their knowledge for the good of mankind, or use the space-time contiuum for their own ends.
