Become Bigfoot in the trailer for Bigfoot Life

May 27, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Planet 47 Games has announced a demo of their unique upcoming game Bigfoot Life will be coming to Steam as part of the Steam Next Fest on 9th June.  This new simulation game will give players a chance to play and live as the mysterious creature often seen in shaky video footage and blurry photos.  A new trailer showing what Bigfoot can do can be seen below…

Bigfoot Life will challenge players to step into the very large shoes of Bigfoot and explore and survive in the forests. This will not be a Harry and the Hendersons experience, there will be no luxuries of a comfy American house, rather an opportunity to explore the great outdoors.

Players will need to ensure the creature’s continued secretive existence by foraging through the forest for mushrooms, berries and fruits, catching and eating fish, insects and other creatures and storing items to ensure survival through the harsh winter.  Structures can be constructed to serve as stores for all the items found on his journey. Animals will need to be scared off, as will the human Bigfoot hunters who will try and photograph him. The best way to deal with these will be to steal their items.

Points can be earnt by carrying out a variety of tasks, such as breaking branches and stealing hunter’s items. There’s also a variety of Bigfoot skills to acquire, including Bigfoot Vision, Speed, Portals and Fog.

Featuring:

  • Forage and hunt for food.
  • Customise the look of your Bigfoot.
  • Acquire different skills to ensure survival.
  • Get rid of Bigfoot hunters without being photographed.
  • Build shelters to sleep in and store items.
  • Heal injured animals with Bigfoot power.
  • Dynamic weather across all seasons.
  • Seek out and interact with other Bigfoot.
  • Level up and find a mate.

Look out for the Bigfoot Life demo coming to Steam for PC this June and Wishlist the game now.
