Disney+ goes on pre-sale in the UK with introductory subscription offer

February 25, 2020 by Gary Collinson

We’ve been made to wait, but Disney+ is now less than a month away from arriving in the UK, and to mark the occasion the streaming service is offering a pre-launch annual subscription for the price of £49.99, equivalent to £4.17 a month, and a saving of £10 on the regular annual price of £59.99 or £5.99 monthly.

The Disney+ service is set to serve as the streaming home for the Mouse House’s extensive film and TV library, including content from Disney, Fox, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, as well as a host of exclusive original content including the likes of The Mandalorian, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Forky Asks A Question, Lady and the Tramp, Toho and Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made.

It’s recently been confirmed that Disney+ content will vary in different regions, and at this point it looks as though the beloved animated sitcom The Simpsons is absent from the service, while Sky also retains the UK distribution rights to a number of Disney’s big feature film titles until 2021, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At this point, their status is also unclear.

Disney+ is set to launch in the UK on March 24th 2020, and if you want to take advantage of the pre-sale subscription discount, head on over to the official site here.
