First trailer for the Safdie brothers’ Uncut Gems starring Adam Sandler

A24 has debuted the first poster and trailer for Josh & Benny Safdie’s (Good Time) upcoming crime thriller Uncut Gems which stars Adam Sandler as a jeweller who makes a series of high-stakes bets in hope they could lead to the windfall of a lifetime, to pay off his debts.  Joining Sandler in the cast are Lakeith Stanfield, Julia Fox, Kevin Garnett, Idina Menzel, Eric Bogosian, and Judd Hirsch; take a look at the trailer below…

From acclaimed filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie comes an electrifying crime thriller about Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler), a charismatic New York City jeweler always on the lookout for the next big score. When he makes a series of high-stakes bets that could lead to the windfall of a lifetime, Howard must perform a precarious high-wire act, balancing business, family, and encroaching adversaries on all sides, in his relentless pursuit of the ultimate win.

Uncut Gems arrives in cinemas this December.
