Free DLC coming to Spintires: MudRunner this May

May 17, 2018 by Andrew Newton

It’s time to clean the mud off your tyres and start revving up the engine as Focus Home Interactive announce they will be releasing the Ridge DLC for their ultimate off-road driving title, Spintires: MudRunner on the 29th May.  This all new FREE update includes a new vehicles, new add ons to try out and a new map that will take drivers to the coast.

The Ridge is a new coastal map that is split in half by a huge mountain ridge.  Travelling all the way around the ridge would take far too long so the only solution is to go straight over, of course, this will require a lot of care due to the hazards that will be on the route.

As well as the brand new map, drivers will be treated to two new vehicles; the D-538 heavy duty tractor and the B-6A lightweight tractor; both of which can be used on any map in the game providing there are sufficient progression points unlocked.

Completing The Ridge will require drivers to use a new type of delivery gameplay called Scavenging which involves finding logs scattered at various locations around the map to complete deliveries and earn the unlock points.

Spintires: MudRunner’s free new DLC, The Ridge, will arrive for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on the 29th May.
