Haunted by Daylight Halloween event returns to Dead by Daylight this month

October 2, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Halloween starts early in Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight as the Haunted by Daylight event is set to return on 17th October and run until 7th November.  The Void is back for it’s 3rd year running and this year players can expect a new Tome and lots of new cosmetic items.  Watch the new trailer below…

When the Void opens later this month players will find more portals into that terrible realm, but once opened they can’t be closed.  To open these portals, players must collect Void Energy as they have previously, but this year the Void Energy can be spent within the Void to create brand-new role-specific Void Items to help turn the tides of a Trial. Plus, for the first time ever, Killer Powers will be available to use in the Void Realm.

With the iconic Castlevania making its way into The Entity’s Realm, a new Tome will arrive for players.  Tome 21: DOMINUS will deliver more stories, Outfits and rewards and basically be a celebration of of all things Castlevania.  All items within DOMINUS will be Castlevania themed or be inspired by gothic horror, such items include the Legendary Soma Cruz Outfit for Trevor, and the Visceral Legendary True Form Outfit for Dracula, complete with its own Mori.

Other outfits for players to collect and have their characters wear are Kate Denson, Adam Francis, and Zarina Kassir, along with the Collection’s first Killer Outfit for The Plague.

There has to be a lighter side to Halloween and this year’s Tricks and Treats Collection introduces a group costume for Sable Ward and Mikaela Reid, both of which are available from the store. There are also outfits for Yun-Jin and The Trickster that can be earned during the event.

Making a return on the 7th October is the fan-favourite Hallowed Blight Collection, with its grotesque and gruesome additions of new outfits for The Pig, The Good Guy, The Deathslinger and more.

Join the Haunted by Daylight Event from 17th October to 7th November in Dead by Daylight.
