Kino Lorber has announced that it is bringing the notorious Ilsa films starring Dyanne Thorne to Blu-ray this November with Ilsa: The Complete Blu-ray Collection, a four disc set featuring 4K remasters of 1975’s controversial nazisploitation shocker Isla, She-Wolf of the SS and its three sequels, Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks, Ilsa, the Wicked Warden, and Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia. Dyanne Thorne became a grindhouse goddess the moment she appeared in the title role of Don Edmonds’ orgy of violence, Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS. Uninhibited and fearless, Thorne sank her teeth into the role with reckless abandon, giving birth to the most diabolical villainess ever to violate the big screen.
Despite being killed off at the end of each film, three sequels followed, and each of them aspired to out-shock, out-thrill, and out-sex the film before: Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks; Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia; and Jess Franco’s Ilsa, the Wicked Warden. This edition collects all the notorious Ilsa films on four Blu-ray discs, derived from recent 4K restorations and accompanied by a wealth of bonus material.
