Insidious: Out of the Further unveils first trailer and poster

Sony Pictures has debuted the first trailer for Insidious: Out of the Further, the sixth instalment in the supernatural horror franchise, which serves as a sequel to 2023’s Insidious: The Red Door.

The film centres on a young mother who discovers she has the ability to travel into the supernatural realm, The Further, and the unfortune capability of bringing demons into the real world, making her a target for the evil entities who reside their that want to make our world their playground.

Written and directed by Jacob Chase (Come Play), the film stars Amelia Eve, Brandon Perea and franchise veteran Lin Shaye. Check out the trailer below…

In Insidious: Out of the Further, Amelia Eve stars as Gemma, a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in who discovers she can travel into The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls at the heart of the Insidious universe. When something evil comes after her, Gemma discovers an ability that changes everything: she doesn’t just enter The Further, she can bring what lives there back to the real world. Once the demons realize her power, our world becomes their playground.

Insidious: Out of the Further arrives in cinemas on August 21st.
