Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson are His & Hers in first-look images from Netflix series

October 16, 2025 by Ricky Church

Netflix has released the first batch of images for His & Hers, its limited series adaptation of Alice Feeney’s novel starring Tessa Thompson (Westworld) and Jon Bernthal (Daredevil: Born Again) which premieres in January.

His & Hers is a “psychological thriller is set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, where Anna (Thompson) lives in haunting reclusivity, fading away from her friends and career as a news anchor. But when she overhears about a murder in Dahlonega – the sleepy town where she grew up – Anna is snapped back to life, pouncing on the case and searching for answers. Detective Jack Harper (Bernthal) is strangely suspicious of her involvement, chasing her into the crosshairs of his own investigation. There are two sides to every story, his and hers — which means someone is always lying.”

Also starring alongside Bernthal and Thompson are Pablo Schreiber (Halo), Crystal Fox (Big Little Lies), Sunita Mani (GLOW), Rebecca Rittenhouse (Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood), Marin Ireland (Materialists) and Poppy Liu (Hacks). Check out the images here…

His & Hers is written by William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth), Dee Johnson (The Good Wife) and Bill Dubuque (The Accountant). Oldroyd is also serving as co-showrunner and director while Johnson is also co-showrunner. All three are executive producing.

His & Hers premieres on Netflix January 8th, 2026.
