Katie McGrath’s Lena Luthor promoted to series regular for Supergirl season 3

March 24, 2017 by Gary Collinson

It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Lena Luthor in season three of Supergirl, as The CW has promoted actress Katie McGrath to a series regular for the third season of the DC superhero show.

McGrath’s Lena, the younger sister of iconic Superman villain Lex Luthor, made her debut in the season two premiere of the DC show, and has so far appeared in seven episodes. McGrath will also be seen on the big screen this summer with a role in Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legends of the Sword.
