Vertical has released a poster and trailer for Susie Searches, the upcoming mystery comedy from director Sophie Kargman which is based on her 2020 short of the same name.
The film stars Kiersey Clemons as Susie, a college student who believes shes found the opportunity to save her failing true crime podcast by solving the case of the mysterious disappearance of a campus heart-throb. Watch the trailer below…
Susie (Clemons), an awkward college student with a failing true-crime podcast, seizes the opportunity to boost her campus and online popularity by solving the mysterious disappearance of Jesse (Wolff), a campus heart-throb. With her star on the rise, events take a dark turn as Susie digs out the truth and soon finds herself in over her head.
Joining Clemons in the cast are Alex Wolff, Jim Gaffigan, Rachel Sennott, Ken Marino, Alex Moffat, David Walton, Isaac Powell, Geoffrey Owens, and Jared Gilman.
Susie Searches arrives in cinemas on July 28th.
