Longplay Studios’ turn-based survival roguelike Terminus: Zombie Survivors receives its first DLC today as Last Escape continues the story for those few survivors of the apocalypse. There are new zones to explore and new characters to meet as players attempt to escape via the railway terminus. Watch the new trailer below for a peek at some of the new locations…
The Last Escape DLC continues the story of player’s survival in the zombie apocalypse, and takes them to the Terminus, where a dramatic escape via railway is the last hope. Inside the Terminus, safety from the hordes is a fragile thing, there are more survivors, and the chance to escape the city, but there are also fewer resources and bolder zombies.
Players will be able to explore two expansive new areas – the Terminus and the Platform, the latter of which provides the most danger, but the most opportunity. There are 16 new survivors to interact with, each with their own backstories, dialogue, and quests to learn and complete. Players can build the trust with these survivors to earn rewards and gain unique items. Whatever decision players make with these survivors will impact the community’s fate in some way.
The DLC also offers a new ending to the game, where players will escape by train. This is a high-stakes finale as players will need to rally survivors, get the railway working again and defend the station against the zombies before being able to flee the city.
The Last Escape DLC is available now for Terminus: Zombie Survivors on Steam. To celebrate the release, the game is currently available with a 30% discount and a 10% on the DLC, but be quick as this only applies until 25th September.
