January 3, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Mattel has officially launched pre-orders for the third wave of Masters of the Universe Origins 200x action figures, which feature Prince Adam based on his appearance in the episode “The Courage of Adam”, Skeletor from “The Beginning”,  Zodak from “Snake Pit”, and a deluxe Clawful from “The Island”; check out the promotional images here…

This MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Prince Adam action figure will bring back fond memories of the 1980s and the beloved 200X toy line based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe TV series. This Prince Adam toy is a modern execution of the 200X figure of He-Man’s “secret identity.” He’s designed at 5 1/2-inch scale, with 16 points of articulation and matte and gloss details throughout. A scepter comes with the figure, inspired by the episode “The Courage of Adam.” After being trapped and chained in a cave by Skeletor, without his Power Sword, Adam breaks his chains and finds the courage to take on Skeletor’s evil warriors in an attempt to escape the cave. Removable body parts on the figure provide mix and match possibilities with other MOTU Origins figures (sold separately). Fans will want to gather all the Cartoon Collection 200X figures to form a nostalgic showcase that evokes the childhood wonder of these toys from the 2000s! Ages 6 and up.

He’s designed at 5 1/2-inch scale, with 16 points of articulation for battle-ready poses. His accessories include the signature ram-headed staff and two swords that can combine into one double-edged weapon. This figure is inspired by the episode “The Beginning.” In Skeletor’s first epic fight against He-Man, after capturing King Randor, he points his staff to show his dominion. Removable body parts on the Skeletor figure provide mix and match possibilities with other MOTU Origins figures (sold separately). Fans will want to gather all the Cartoon Collection 200X figures to form a nostalgic showcase that evokes the childhood wonder of these toys from the 2000s!
