Mazu the Goddess of the Seas joins the roster in Fight of Gods on October 30th

October 29, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Mazu, Goddess of the Sea, is the latest omnipotent power to join the roster in Fight of Gods.  Lin Mo, a Fujianese shamaness was deified after her death in the 10th century and became Mazu Goddess of the Seas and protector of seafarers and coastal towns.  She is still worshipped today by many Chinese along China’s coastline and throughout Southeast Asia.  Players will be able to bring Mazu to the fight on the 30th October. See her in action in the trailer below…

Mazu is a mid to long range specialist in combat and swamps opponents with her two demon familiars, Thousand Miles Eye and With-the-Wind Ear.  These two familiars will appear from thin air and seldom appear in the same place meaning opponents will have to keep on their toes.  Mazu will overwhelm her opponents with a good range, aerial attacks and unique combos and will be available from the 30th October.

Fight of Gods is the (sometimes controversial) 2D fighting game from indie developer, Digital Crafter, for those who want to pit religious figures against each other.  If you have ever wondered who would win in a fight between Zeus or Odin then this game will give you the opportunity to find out.
