McFarlane’s DC Multiverse line adds Doctor Mid-Nite, Darkseid War Batman and Flashpoint Batman

September 18, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

McFarlane Toys has added another three additions to its DC Multiverse line with action figures for Doctor Mid-Nite (Justice Society of America), Batman with Mobius Chair (Darkseid War), and the Big Bad Toy Store exclusive Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne) Black & White Accent edition figure; check them out here…

Physician Dr. Charles McNider was asked by police to treat an important witness against mobster “Killer” Maroni. While McNider was treating the dying man, a thug threw a hand grenade at them. McNider was blinded by the explosion. McNider learned that he could now see in the dark, but was blinded by light, much like an owl. He developed special “infrared glasses” that would enable him to see in daylight as well. McNider then adopted the costumed identity of Doctor Mid-Nite and used it to capture Maroni. Doctor Mid-Nite was a member of the All-Star Squadron and spent many years as a member of the Justice Society of America.

In an attempt to alter the course of history, The Flash traveled back in time to save his mother’s life. This, however, resulted in the crisis-level event known as Flashpoint, rippling across time and changing the world as we knew it for the worse. In this alternate timeline, Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne survived their deadly encounter in Crime Alley years ago, but their young son Bruce was killed instead. Driven by the death of his son, Thomas became Batman—though, this Dark Knight is far deadlier and more ruthless than the vigilante hero his son would have become
