nDreams’ action shooter Synapse hits PS VR2

July 5, 2023 by Andrew Newton

Award winning VR developer nDreams has announced that their eagerly awaited Playstation VR2 exclusive action shooter, Synapse, is out now on the Playstation Store.  With dual-wielding gameplay and a legendary voice cast, this game looks to be a must have for VR action fans.  Watch the new trailer below….

In Synapse players will gain surging telekinetic powers and wield deadly weaponry as they infiltrate the mind of the notorious enemy of the state, Colonel Peter Conrad (voiced by David Hayter – Snake in thenMetal Gear Solid game series).

Guided by their Handler, Clara Sorensen (voiced by Jennifer Hale – Female Commander Shepard of the Mass Effect game series), players will use powerful telekinesis as well as more conventional weaponry as they fight through the Colonel’s subconscious to extract intelligence that is critical to ending his plans for destruction on an epic scale.

“It’s been incredibly rewarding to see people’s excitement for Synapse grow from the moment we announced the game back in February,” said James Shepherd, Head of nDreams Studio. “The team have produced a true showcase of what the PS VR2 is capable of, and I’m thrilled that PS VR2 owners can finally experience the spectacle of Synapse for themselves.”

Synapse’s gameplay takes full advantage of the Playstation VR2’s next-gen features, including the Sense controllers’ haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

You can purchase Synapse now from the Playstation Store for £29.99.
