New Solo Leveling: ARISE update takes players to the finale of Jeju Island

March 14, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Netmarble has released a new update for Solo Leveling: ARISE taking players to the finale of the Jeju Island Alliance Raid.  There’s also the arrival of a brand-new SSR hunter and other content updates.

There’s no doubt that the Jeju Island Alliance Raid has been a huge battle for players as they battle the swarms of giant ants and this Final Act will feature two new operations against the Queen Ant, where players will need to defeat the remnants of the ant legions, and a final battle against the Ant King.  This latter operation is a team-based battle stage where players will need to fight simultaneously against the King in order to defeat him.  The Ant King’s HP is shared among all those taking part and all damage dealt is reflected in real-time.

Players will be able to earn bonus rewards based on their contribution to this final battle and those who achieve the highest scores will be able to receive special rewards such as a trophy for the Hall of Fame.  In addition to this, players can earn Jeju Island Raid Contribution Points and Jeju Island Raid Coins, which can be exchanged for additional rewards.

A new SSR hunter arrives with this new update and players are able to add SSR wind-type Tank Goto Ryuji to the roster of playable hunters.  Ryuji has a very healthy amount of HP and exceptional Break performance, he can also make use of the ‘Phantom’s Heavenly Hurricane’ attack where he can slash through any enemy in front of him. However, his Ultimate skill is ‘Devestate Prey’, which allows him to unleash his hidden potential on his enemies.

There are several events running through to 10th April that offer generous rewards. There’s the ‘Excited Spring Outing’ event that will task players with completing daily missions to earn Gina’s new costume ‘Will’. Players can also complete minigames to earn Boss Challenge Keys, providing a chance to obtain ‘SSR Sung Jinwoo Event Weapon Chest’.  Finally, a Check-In Gift event is also available, giving players a chance to earn a variety of rewards including Mana Power Extract, [Heroic] Blessing Stone Vol. 4 and much more.

Other additions with this latest update include:

  • Increase in Sung Jinwoo’s maximum level to 105.
  • A new Sung Jinwoo Job tier ‘Monarch of Shadows: Adversary’ and a new Shadow ‘Beste’.
  • A new Refinement system to power up Legendary Skill Runes and Blessing Stones to the new Transcendent grade.
  • New bosses for the Instance Dungeon and the Encore Missions.
  • New costumes for Goto Ryuji, Thomas Andre and Gina.

This latest update is available on Solo Leveling: ARISE now.
