New stealth based PvE mode arrives for Hood: Outlaws & Legends

July 29, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Sumo Digital and Focus Home Interactive have released a free new update for their multiplayer heist game, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, that introduces an exciting new PvE game mode focusing on stealth and cooperation.  Watch the new trailer below to see more of this new mode…

Titled ‘State Heist’, this new mode replaces the enemy player team with an AI team representing the State and is a much more dangerous and responsive team than what players would normally face.  Combine this with limitations on respawning and you have a game mode that will require careful planning and a strategic approach.  Using stealth will be essential to successfully complete the mission without being overwhelmed.

To celebrate the release of this new game mode, Focus and Sumo Digital have introduced a brand new community event called ‘Survive the State’.  Those players skilled enough to steal the chest in the new heist without dying will be rewarded with the new Shadowlord’s costume for the character they were playing.  The reward will be available once the event ends on 2nd August, so don’t delay in completing the heist.  You can see what this new outfit looks like below.

The new State Heist game mode is available now for Hood: Outlaws & Legends.
