New trailer for Blonde starring Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe

July 29, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has released a new trailer and poster for Blonde, the upcoming NC-17-rated biopic from writer-director Andrew Dominik which stars Ana de Armas (No Time to Die) as Marilyn Monroe and explores the complicated public and private life of the Hollywood icon; take a look below…

Based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates, Blonde boldly reimagines the life of one of Hollywood’s most enduring icons, Marilyn Monroe. From her volatile childhood as Norma Jeane, through her rise to stardom and romantic entanglements, Blonde blurs the lines of fact and fiction to explore the widening split between her public and private selves.

Written and directed by Andrew Dominik, Blonde sees Ana de Armas lead a cast that includes Bobby Cannavale, Adrien Brody, Julianne Nicholson, Xavier Samuel and Evan Williams.

Blonde arrives on Netflix on September 28th.
