New trailer for Warhammer Survivors reveals playable heroes

April 9, 2026 by Andrew Newton

Auroch Digital has released a new trailer for their upcoming Warhammer Survivors, introducing some of the characters that players will be able to play as. This upcoming fast-paced roguelite survivors game set in the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar universes features renowned characters, iconic weapons and endless swarms of enemies. Watch the new trailer below…

As well as playable characters that fans of Warhammer may know and love (such as the previously announced Malum Caedo from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun), Warhammer Survivors will feature a host of new faces, including…

  • Chaplain Fo’Baran of the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter.
  • Knight-Commander Pask, a Tank-ace who commands a Leman Russ Tank.
  • The Legend of Catachan, a feared veteran of the Catachan Jungle Fighters.
  • Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, with his mighty Gauntlets of Ultramar.
  • Commissar Sebastian Yarrick, a stubborn and strict veteran who has served the Imperium of Man for many years, and fought during the Armageddon campaign.

There will also be a devastating cache of weaponry for players to use against the hordes…

  • D6 Dice – exploding dice that inflict damage determined by the number rolled.
  • Power Fist – a giant fist that swings in an arc around the player.
  • Gauntlets of Ultramar (Evolved) – an evolved version of the Power Fist that also fires bolter rounds.
  • Orbital Bombardment (Evolved) – A barrage from a voidship that will wipe out multiple targets.
  • Emperor’s Wrath (Evolved) – a blazing aura of faith that destroys nearby foes.

There’s also a new enemy faction to fight – an Ork WAAAGH! These huge mobs of greenskins will attack players with numerous troops, from Grots and Ork Boyz, to Speed Freak Warbikers and Savage Bomb Squigs. There will be Ork Lootas and Big Meks with Shokk Attack Guns and many more. If that wasn’t bad enough, there’s also the Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka as the first of Warhammer Survivors’ Extremis Boss.

Warhammer Survivors is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and PC via Steam later this year.
