The ending of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes made it pretty clear that war would be coming in the third instalment of Fox’s rebooted series, and now it seems we’ve got confirmation on that front, with Collider reporting that the next film is going by the title of War of the Planet of the Apes.

The next Planet of the Apes movie is set for release on July 14th, 2017, having been pushed back from its original 2016 date. Matt Reeves is returning to the director’s chair, and Andy Serkis is expected to reprise his acclaimed role as ape leader Caesar.
