Nicholas Hoult meets Bill Skarsgård’s Nosferatu in new image from Robert Eggers’ remake

November 25, 2023 by EJ Moreno

Robert Eggers is promising some throwback horror with his Nosferatu film, and a new image gives us a taste of the terror to come.

Empire Magazine teased the photo you see above, which showcases Nicholas Hoult’s character, but if you look closely, we also get a new glimpse of Bill Skarsgård’s Count Orlok.

In the same 2024 preview from Empire, Eggers teases the pure horror that will be on display, stating: “It’s a scary film. It’s a horror movie. It’s a Gothic horror movie. And I do think that there hasn’t been an old-school Gothic movie that’s actually scary in a while. And I think that the majority of audiences will find this one to be the case.”

Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is “a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman in 19th century Germany and the ancient Transylvanian vampire who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him.”

The cast of Nosferatu includes Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, Nicholas Hoult, and Emma Corrin, who also star alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Simon McBurney, and Ralph Ineson.

We are awaiting the arrival of the trailer any day now.

Nosferatu is slated for release sometime in 2024.
