Robert Pattinson teams with Jennifer Lawrence for the first time in Die, My Love

July 24, 2024 by EJ Moreno

A 2010s dream team is finally happening: Robert Pattinson will team up with Jennifer Lawrence for a new film. Directed by Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin), Deadline reports the duo is set for the thriller Die, My Love. Ramsay also co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh.

The story follows a mother in a remote, forgotten rural area who struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis. Lawrence will lead the film, but there’s no word on who Pattinson will play.

If you were growing up in the late 00s, the idea of Twilight star Robert Pattinson and Hunger Games heroine Jennifer Lawrence starring in a film would delight. But now, as the actors have leveled with awards and critical acclaim, it’s an even better time to see these two together.

Per Deadline, Justine Ciarrocchi and Lawrence (through their Excellent Cadaver banner), Martin Scorsese, and Andrea Calderwood are producing with Black Label Media financing.

Pattinson will next star in Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17, which is set for release sometime next year.

There’s no set date for production, so stay tuned to Flickering Myth for any updates on Lynne Ramsay’s upcoming Die, My Love.
