Earlier this week we got our first look at the official logo for Shazam!, Warner Bros. and director David F. Sandberg’s upcoming DC Extended Universe release, and Sandberg has taken to Twitter to reveal that the logo is actually based on one that he designed for his pitch to Warner and DC Films.

Aside from the logo, we’re yet to get any official promotional material from Shazam!, but with several set photos of Zachary Levi doing the rounds on social media, we’ll presumably get to see something soon…

Shazam will see Zachary Levi starring as the titular superhero, with Asher Angel as his young alter-ego Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, Grace Fulton as Mary Marvel, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Mark Strong as Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and Ron Cephas Jones as the Wizard. The film is set for release on April 5th 2019.
