Shin Ultraman movie gets a poster and trailers

April 21, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Pop culture icon Ultraman returns this year courtesy of Toho Pictures and Tsuburaya Productions, and we now have a poster and a couple of trailers for Shin Godzilla directors Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi’s big screen reimagining Shin Ultraman, which you can find right here…

“An alien is out for justice and pursues a rogue criminal to a planet called Earth. To atone for his deeds he leaves the power and transforms a human into a hero for good and Earthly protection. Thus the Ultra Man is born as fashioned after the original early 1960s televisions serial that was on many Japanese households’ TVs.”

Shin Ultraman arrives in cinemas in Japan on May 13th. No word yet on a Western release.
